Home Minister Thapa orders agitating transport committee leaders arrested

Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has ordered police to arrest office bearers of public transport committees that have gone on strike on Friday.

According to sources, the minister has ordered Chief District Officers to arrest the office bearers under the Essential Services Act.

A home ministry source said that the CDOs will now deploy police to arrest the leaders of the committees.
