Province 2 Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Gyanendra Kumar Yadav, has directed heads of all local governments (municipalities and rural municipalities) in the Province to be present at a ceremony to be organised to welcome Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is scheduled to visit Janakpurdham on May 11 during his Nepal visit.
Speaking at a programme held in Jaleshwor on Monday, he also called on all civil servants and members of the public to be present to welcome the Indian PM.
He also informed them about routes which Modi is scheduled to take during the visit.
Mahottari district has 15 local levels, including 10 municipalities and five rural municipalities.
