2 dead, 2 Injured jeep dives 100 meters in Rasuwa


KATHMANDU: Two persons died on the spot and two others sustained injuries after the jeep they were travelling on fell below the road in Aamachodingmo Rural Municipality-5 of Rasuwa district on Tuesday night.

Police have recognized the terminated as Shivagunj Rajbanshi (45) of Morang area and Bikash Gharti (24) of Dang region; and hurt as Gautam Aryal of Nawalparasi, and Jeevan Rai of Dharan, Sunsari.

The event happened when the hydropower compound stacked Bolero jeep (Ba 17 Ta 5345) in travel from Siu Tundi Construction to Bajra Construction lost control and dove around 100 meters underneath in Shimbu at 8:00 pm, according to Police Post Thambuchet.

The hurt couple have been encountering treatment at District Hospital, Dhunche.

It has been learnt that Rajbansi worked the dozer and Gharti was a remedial staff with the being worked on Sanjen Hydroelectricity Project there.

Meanwhile, support examination concerning the case is in advance and sweep is on for the withdrawing all of a sudden jeep driver, Prakash Tamang of Dhading, who fled the event site, police said.
